THE POINT OF CANTERBURY TALES IS...

Thesis:

Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer is a satirical story about a multitude of societal roles. Throughout his work Chaucer is able to provide his readers with a motley of examples of hypocrisy, and overall the "not ideal" representation of a certain group of people through crude humor, irony, and other literary techniques.
